Number of Travel Grants

Approximately 10 recipients will receive Travel Grants.

Details of supports

The travel grant is intended to partially support transportation and accommodation expenses related to participation in the symposium. Recipients may be asked to submit relevant travel documents or receipts as required.

The maximum grant amount is generally JPY 100,000 for applicants based in Asia and JPY 200,000 for applicants based outside Asia. The final amount will be determined by the Organizing Committee based on available funds and travel circumstances.

The following expenses ARE NOT COVERED in the travel grant support.
  1. Registration fees
  2. Banquet fees
  3. Excursion fees
  4. Other personal expenses

Application acceptance period

The same as the abstract submission period.

Eligible Applicants

  • Applicants must be based outside Japan (including Japanese nationals) and be under 40 years of age as of November 8, 2026.
  • Applicants must select either a poster presentation or a poster + short talk at the time of abstract submission.
  • Please submit your CV as part of the application.

Selected recipients may be asked to submit the following documents:

  • A copy of the applicant’s passport
  • A signed letter from their supervisor confirming their current status
  • Travel-related documents or receipts
  • Bank account information for payment

Selection process

The 3R3CD Program Committee will select the Travel Grant recipients based on the submitted abstracts and CVs.

Note: Your CV should include the following information:
  • Affiliation
  • Education and professional background
  • Field of expertise
  • Research experience and achievements
  • Selected publications

Travel Grant Eligibility

Travel grants will be awarded only to presenters who attend the symposium and present their work.
If the presentation is canceled or the presenter is changed, the applicant may become ineligible for the travel grant.
