Technical Tour ＆ Excursion

Bio4Apps 2024 has prepared a technical tour and excursion where you can experience Toyama’s tradition, sightseeing and a chance to visit the Toyama prefectural university.
The excursion fee is included in the registration fee.

Assembly point： ANA Crowne Plaza Toyama (Next to the Toyama International Convention Center)
Assembly Time：8:15 am
*Please be punctual during assembly time. If you are late, there is a possibility that you may not be able to participate in the excursion.

Course Information

8:30 am	Departure: ANA Crowne Plaza Toyama
9:10 am ～ 10:00 am	Campus Tour: Toyama Prefectural University (Education and Research Center for Digital Transformation)
10:40 am ～ 11:30 am	Visit: Michinoeki AMAHARASHI (The best location to enjoy the view of snowy Tateyama mountains.)
12:30 pm ～ 1:45 pm	Lunch Visit: Inami Wood Carving Composite Hall (An art museum that displays a variety of traditional Japanese woodcarvings including ranma (a Japanese transom, which is a wooden piece of art that is put into the wall usually above an entryway), shishi masks (lion-dog masks that represent shrine guardians), small wooden shrine rooms, and modern woodcarvings.)
2:30 pm ～ 3:30 pm	Visit: Ainokura Village (World Heritage Site) (Ainokura is the most remote village in the Gokayama region. It is also the largest of the villages with nearly 20 gassho-zukuri farmhouses.)
4:50 pm	Arrival: ANA Crowne Plaza Toyama
