Welcome to ISPF2 Tokyo – A New Chapter in Photon Science

We are delighted to invite you to the 5th International Symposium on Singlet Fission and Photon Fusion (ISPF2), which will take place for the first time in Asia, in the vibrant and historic city of Tokyo, Japan.

Following the success of past meetings in Gothenburg (2016, 2018), Milan (2022), and New York (2024), ISPF2 continues to serve as the premier international forum for sharing breakthroughs and exchanging ideas in the fields of singlet fission and photon upconversion. These photon management processes are shaping the future of solar energy conversion, photochemistry, and quantum science.

ISPF2 Tokyo will bring together leading researchers from around the world to discuss the latest developments in:
● Singlet fission
● Photon fusion
● Related quantum technologies

Set in the heart of Tokyo at the historic Hongo Campus of the University of Tokyo, the symposium offers a unique opportunity to explore cutting-edge science while experiencing the rich culture and hospitality of Japan.

We look forward to welcoming you to Tokyo for an inspiring and memorable symposium.
