The Planetary Health Annual Meeting (PHAM) is a gathering where researchers, policymakers, healthcare professionals, educators, students, artists, Indigenous leaders, those from private sectors, and civil society representatives from around the world come together to confront the health challenges facing people and the planet - and to design solutions. PHAM 2027 will be held June 7-11, 2027, at the University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan - co-hosted by the Planetary Health Alliance (PHA) and the Planetary Health Japan Hub.
Our planet is changing rapidly. Climate change, biodiversity loss, and environmental pollution are accelerating, and their consequences are already present in our daily lives. This is not a challenge any single discipline, sector, or tradition can meet alone. PHAM 2027 brings together the wisdom of science and practice, academia and civil society, Indigenous, Eastern, and Western knowledge - under the theme "Blending Wisdom for a Thriving Future: Solutions for a Changing Earth" - to design solutions that work, and to build the conditions for all life on Earth to truly thrive.
