We are pleased to invite you to Supra FIBER International Summit for Nucleic Acids (S-FISNA) , Japan. This symposium will be organized by Frontier Institute for Biomolecular Engineering Research (FIBER), Konan University and held at Kobe Portpia hotel, Japan on February 29- March 2, 2024. Since 2003, FIBER has investigated science and technology of nucleic acids chemistry. Thanks to the leadership of Prof. Sugimoto, Director of FIBER, FIBER is becoming one of the well-known research cores in nucleic acids chemistry all over the world. Furthermore, he dedicated to establish Japan Society of Nucleic Acids Chemistry (JSNAC) and will organize IRT2024 in Japan as a co-chair. In this time, we organize S-FISNA to commemorate the many years of achievements of Prof Sugimoto in the field of Nucleic Acids Chemistry.

Prof. Sugimoto was a former president of JSNAC and organized CISNAC2019 as a commemorative international symposium for establishment of JSNAC. In CISNAC2019, he gave us a vital message about three “bridges”: Bridging researchers around the world, Bridging different fields of specialization, and Bridging generations. Once again, we have to keep in mind these “bridges” to expand the research field of nucleic acids chemistry in Japan. The mission of S-FISNA is to provide an opportunity to all attendees to fulfill these three “bridges”. We will invite many experts from all over the world working in Nucleic Acids Chemistry to discuss their latest research and promote international research exchange for sustainable development of the field of Nucleic Acids Chemistry.

Again, we extend cordial welcome to all of the students and researchers engaged in the research fields mentioned above in academia and industry. We are very much looking forward to seeing all of you in Kobe.
