The Hokuriku Chapter of the JSAP, which was the parent body of the Hokuriku-Shin'etsu Chapter, was founded in 1965 in three prefectures: Ishikawa, Toyama, and Fukui. In 1998, Nagano and Niigata joined us and the current form of the Hokuriku-Shin'etsu Chapter was established.
As the 25th anniversary year, we have planned this ceremonial session to invite some of the professors who have contributed greatly to our activities, from administrative to research, to give a lecture on the history of our chapter and their current research progress.
