On behalf of the Local Organizing Committee, we would like to warmly welcome you to the International Symposium on Plasmid Biology (ISPB2024) to be held in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. As we embark on this scientific journey, we invite you to join us for an immersive experience dedicated to exploring the complex world of plasmid biology.

Hamamatsu City is a warm and scenic town known as a city of musical instruments, motorcycle industry, and photonics, with good access by Shinkansen from Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, and Kyoto. We are really happy to be able to hold the first ISPB in Asia in a place like this.

ISPB2024 promises to provide a unique opportunity for plasmid researchers to share the latest research trends and advance our collective understanding of plasmid biology.
