The 14th International Workshop on Processing and Applications of Superconducting (RE)BCO Materials (PASREG 2025) will be held in Tokyo, Japan from November 28th to 30th 2025, before the 38th International Symposium on Superconductivity (ISS2025), which will be hosted by Nagasaki, Japan from December 2nd to 4th 2025 (*).
PASREG 2025 is intended to bring together scientists active in the field of fabrication, characterization, magnetizing technique, and applications of large grain (RE)BCO superconducting bulk materials and related materials, to share knowledge and advances. This workshop was first held in Cambridge in 1997 and has been held approximately every two years since then. The previous workshop was held in Caen, France. This will be the 3rd time this workshop has been held in Tokyo in 8 years.
(*) Please be advised that PASREG 2025 and ISS2025 are entirely independent conferences, each organized by its own committee. These events are not jointly managed, and their administrative processes, including registration, program details, and visa support, are handled separately. To avoid any confusion, we kindly request that all inquiries—particularly those concerning visa arrangements—be directed exclusively to the organizing committee of the respective conference.
The PASREG2025 workshop will focus on all important aspects of the fabrication, characterization, and magnetizing technique of high-temperature and conventional superconductor bulks.
The workshop will also cover innovative applications using superconductor bulks and recent hot topics in applied superconductivity.
