Greetings

It's our great pleasure to announce that the 14th International Workshop on Processing and Applications of Superconducting (RE) BCO Materials (PASREG 2025) will be held in Tokyo, Japan, from November 28 to 30, 2025. This workshop will precede the 38th International Symposium on Superconductivity (ISS2025), which will take place in Nagasaki City, Japan, from December 2 to 4, 2025.

The PASREG 2025 will cover all important processing, characterization, and magnetizing technique aspects of (RE)BCO, MgB2, Fe-based, and all superconducting bulk materials. The workshop will also cover innovative applications using superconducting bulks, and recent hot topics in applied superconductivity. The primary objective of this event is to bring together researchers from around the world who are active in this field to promote knowledge exchange and technological development. The program will consist of invited, contributed oral and poster presentations in materials science and engineering.

This workshop was first held in Cambridge in 1997, and has been held approximately every two years since then. This workshop has taken place three times in Japan in the past. It has been eight years since the last workshop was held in Tokyo, and this is the second time it has been held at TUMSAT since 2005.

PASREG 2025 is based on the proud achievements of past superconductivity research and the success of previous workshops.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the many individuals, including the International Organizing Committee and the International Advisory Committee, for their support.

On behalf of the PASREG 2025 local Organizing Committee, this workshop will be interesting, useful, and fruitful for all participants.

Welcome to Tokyo!
