LUMIBIRD is one of the world's leading specialists in lasers. With 50 years of experience and expertise in 3 key technologies - solid-state lasers, laser diodes and fiber lasers - the group designs, manufactures and markets high performance lasers for the industrial (manufacturing, lidar sensors), scientific (laboratories and universities), medical (ophthalmology) and defense markets.
With development and manufacturing facilities in France and the USA, and a strong world-wide sales and service network, the group serves a global customer base.
Custom high-end wind lidar and laser modules, expanding technical boundaries through perfectionism.
Suruga Seiki offers a range of standard products for the photonic integration field—an area of growing demand driven by data centers, AI, and optical quantum technologies—supporting diverse needs from R&D to mass production.
At this exhibition, we will showcase the EW Series, an alignment stage and controller set designed for optical waveguide alignment, with a live system demonstration.
We also provide standardized systems with enhanced flexibility to better meet diverse customer needs.
Furukawa Electric Co., Ltd. was founded in 1884, starting its business with copper refining and electric wires.
Today, the company leverages four core technologies—metals, polymers, photonics, and high-frequency—to deliver a wide range of products and solutions across three business domains: infrastructure (including telecommunications and energy), automotive electronics, and functional products.
Based on the photonics technologies it has cultivated over the years, Furukawa Electric is working to create new businesses that address social challenges, aiming to enter the aerospace field as part of this initiative.
At the exhibition, we are showcasing a laser module for Doppler LiDAR as one of our solutions.
EOR, Ltd., specializes in importing and supplying laser systems, optical components, and scientific instruments, supporting advanced research and industrial applications.
Litron Lasers is a leading developer and manufacturer of high energy solid-state nanosecond lasers. Our pulsed Q-switch Nd:YAG lasers are lamp-pumped or fully diode-pumped and range from our compact Nano series to our ultra-high energy LPY 10J and high energy, high repetition rate Plasma DPSS. Our high energy lasers are built on the industrial Invar rail platform to guarantee exceptional stability. Our modular design allows us to easily customise the laser head to best match the application requirements. With almost 30 years’ experience designing and manufacturing high energy nanosecond lasers we have many thousands of lasers installed worldwide.
The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) promotes Earth observation to better understand the present and future Earth through advanced remote-sensing technologies. The Multi-sensing Observation Lidar and Imager (MOLI) project, an ISS-based lidar demonstration mission, enables detailed observation of vertical structures on the Earth's surface, contributing to high-precision forest biomass estimation and the generation of accurate three-dimensional topographic maps. JAXA also contributes to the Earth Cloud Aerosol and Radiation Explorer (EarthCARE) satellite mission launched in May 2024. The Cloud Profiling Radar, developed by JAXA, enables the world’s first spaceborne measurements of vertical cloud motion. EarthCARE’s instruments, including the CPR and the ATmospheric LIDar (ATLID) by the European Space Agency (ESA), work in synergy to improve climate models.
