Martin van den Brink (ASML, Former President & CTO, Netherlands)

Biography

Mr. Van den Brink earned a degree in electrical engineering from HTS Arnhem (HAN University) and a degree in physics from the University of Twente, the Netherlands, in 1984. He joined ASML when the company was founded in early 1984, holding several engineering and management positions. In 1999, he was promoted to Executive Vice President Marketing & Technology and appointed as a member of ASML’s Board of Management. Martin van den Brink was appointed as President and CTO on July 1, 2013.

In 2023 Mr. Van den Brink announced his retirement from ASML as of April 2024. He remains active as an advisor for ASML and is a member of the Supervisory Board for ASM.
