Visa applications must be completed by the applicant in person at the Japanese Embassy or Consulate General with jurisdiction over their place of residence or the country where their passport was issued.

Procedures to obtain a short-term stay visa

The chart below provides an outline of the procedure.

The documents required for a visa application vary depending on the applicant's nationality and the purpose of travel. You should apply for a "Single-Entry Short-Term Saty Visa" for the purpose of Business Affairs (attending meetings/conferences). In some cases, both documents prepared by the applicant and additional documents provided by the inviting party in Japan are necessary.
JRRS/ACRR2025 will prepare the necessary documents to be prepared by the inviting party for the participants who need a visa to enter Japan.

Please read the following before applying:

Applicants must complete the registration and payment for JRRS/ACRR2025.

Your passport must be valid until your departure from Japan.

The maximum invitation period of your stay in Japan is from October 20 to 31, 2025. We cannot guarantee your stay outside of this period.

Application deadline: August 15, 2025

Applications submitted after the deadline will incur a document preparation fee of 15,000 JPY. Once your request is confirmed, we will provide payment details. Documents will be issued after payment is confirmed.
