Registration is now open. All participants, including speakers and abstract presenters, must register and complete payment.

How to register

1. Read the information on this page.
2. Click "Register now" and log in. If you submitted an abstract, use the same account. If not, create an account.
3. Complete the registration form and pay by credit card.
4. You will receive a confirmation email. Your registration is complete once you receive this email.
5. You can download your invoice/receipt from "My Page" after completing the registration payment.

In-person participation

In-person registration fee includes:

• Sightseeing bus tour (Approx. 3 hours. Book on-site. Seats are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis)

We are seeking donations to support the participation of students and early-career researchers from Low- & Lower-middle-income countries.
We sincerely thank you for your generous support.

*Payment must be made in Japanese Yen (JPY) by credit card.

The following credit cards are accepted in the registration system.

Notice for Credit Card Payments
- A one-time password will be required; please have your mobile phone registered with your credit card ready.
- Please complete the payment process on a computer, not on a smartphone. (Use the latest version of Chrome.)
- Using a smartphone or a browser other than Chrome may result in authentication failure during credit card payment.
- Please do not click the "Back" or cancel buttons during the credit card payment process.

Invoice and Receipt

You can download invoices/receipts and edit the name on them through "My Page".

Cancellation Policy

No refunds will be accepted for payments made more than 180 days after payment or any request made after March 5, 2027 (JST). For cancellations, please contact the Secretariat at pham2027@pcojapan.jp.

Pre-conference program and social events

Pre-conference program (Monday, June 7)

On Monday, June 7, participants will be invited to join a range of pre-conference programs that offer opportunities to experience planetary health in action across Tokyo. Planned activities include cultural, educational, environmental, and networking experiences, including a Youth Networking Event.
Further details will be announced in due course. The program will also provide valuable opportunities for participants to reconnect with colleagues, build new relationships, and engage with the global planetary health community before the main conference begins. Some programs may require an additional fee.

Welcome reception (Monday, June 7)

Open to all in-person participants at no additional cost. Please let us know in the registration form whether you plan to attend.

Conference dinner (Thursday, June 10)

Tickets: JPY 15,000. Seats are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. 
Vegetarian and vegan options are available. More details will be announced soon. Please stay tuned!

Letter and Visa Support

Registration Confirmation Letter

If you need a letter from PHAM2027, for example, to apply for travel funding from your institution or to show at immigration when entering Japan, we will issue a letter confirming your registration.
Please request the letter after completing your registration and payment. We will send it to you by e-mail.
The request form will be available soon.

Insurance

The registration fee does not include insurance, and the organizers do not provide insurance of any kind. We strongly recommend that you obtain travel and health insurance before traveling to Japan. For more information, see “Travel Insurance in Japan” (Japan National Tourism Organization).

Privacy Policy

Personal information is handled in accordance with the [PCO Privacy Policy] and is shared with the organizers of PHAM2027, the Planetary Health Alliance Japan Hub and the Planetary Health Alliance Global Secretariat (United States), for the management of the conference.

Certificate of Attendance

A certificate of attendance will be issued after the meeting. You can download it from “My Page”.
