Eligibility

  • In principle, presenters residing in Japan must be members of the Japanese Radiation Research Society. If you are not a member, please apply for membership (click here for membership inquiries). Presenters residing overseas are not required to be members of the society.
  • Each presenter is limited to one presentation during all conference sessions in principle. Symposium and workshop presenters are not eligible for the call for general abstracts.
    *If a presenter may have to speak more than once, please consult with the Secretariat (jrrsacrr2025@pcojapan.jp) in advance.
  • Presenters must register to participate in the 68th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Radiation Research Society and the 6th Asian Congress of Radiation Research (JRRS/ACRR2025).

Award Application

■Award for Excellent Presentation -JRRS/ACRR2025-

  • JRRS/ACRR2025 will select and award Excellent Presentation Award.
  • Applicants must be members of JRRS, and students/researchers within three years of obtaining their doctoral degree.
  • Oral presentations and poster presentations are eligible.
  • The Award Committee will select the winners and certificates will be given at the award ceremony.
  • If you apply for an award, please fill in the form when you register your abstract.

■Poster Award for Young Scientists -Research Center for Radiation Disaster Medical Science-

  • JRRS/ACRR2025 is held jointly with Research Center for Radiation Disaster Medical Science. Poster Award for excellent poster presentations by young scientists will also be selected and awarded.
  • Applicants must be those who are involved in the projects of Research Center for Radiation Disaster Medical Science (including the member of FY2025 Joint Research Project), and young students/researchers under 43 years old on the day of presentation, or researchers within ten years of obtaining their doctoral degree. Lecturers (or equivalent positions) and above are excluded.
  • The Award Committee will select the winners. Up to three award-winning abstracts may be selected and certificates will be given at the award ceremony.
  • If you apply for an award, please fill in the form when you register your abstract. 
*It is possible to apply for both the Award for Excellent Presentation and the Poster Award for Young Scientists.
*The award ceremony is scheduled in the afternoon on October 26th. All applicants are requested to attend the award ceremony. If you cannot attend, please contact the Secretariat (jrrsacrr2025@pcojapan.jp) by October 25th.

Presentation Format

  • The presenters can choose either an oral presentation or a poster presentation.
  • If there are too many applications for oral presentations, we may not be able to accommodate your request. The Secretariat may make adjustments.
  • Presentations should be given in English as a rule. Slides should be prepared in English only.
  • Depending on the abstract, you might be asked to give an oral presentation at a symposium or workshop.

Abstract submission guidelines

Please submit your abstract using online registration from this website.
  • Please register an account on our dedicated management system (SMART Conference).
  • After logging in to your “My Page”, please go to "Papers" and click "+Submit paper" to register your abstract.

  • Registration of Co-authors and Abstract Information
    • Co-author information
      Enter the names (in Japanese and English) and affiliations (in Japanese and English) of co-authors.
      Up to 20 co-authors and up to 10 institutions can be registered.
    • Abstract Category
      Refer to the above "Abstract Category" and select the appropriate one.
    • Presentation format
      Please select one of the following presentation formats: "Oral Presentation," "Poster Presentation," or "Either way.”

    Rules for abstracts
    • Please omit corporate names such as "Medical Corporation XX Association" or "Medical Corporation Association".
    • In the case of a university, enter "XX University, XX Faculty, XX Department" or "XX University, XX Graduate School, XX Department of XX Studies" without spaces.
    • Only text can be entered in the abstract title and abstract body.
    • English title: up to 30 words
    • Abstract text

      Abstract should be 250 words or less in English (Japanese is unacceptable).

      Please do not include the title, affiliation, name, figures, tables, etc., in the abstract body.

      *Please be careful not to exceed the number of characters, as an error will occur, and your abstract will not be registered. If you use special characters, please refer to "Input" before entering them.

    • You can edit and make changes to the submitted content within the application period.
    • The Secretariat will contact you by e-mail to confirm the acceptance or rejection of your abstract.

    Traveling Expense Assistance for Student Speakers

    Travel expenses could be reimbursed to student members of the Japanese Radiation Research Society residing in Japan (including those in the process of admission) who have submitted application for presentation as the first author at the conference. The application procedure will be posted on the Japanese Radiation Research Society's website.

    The abstracts' copyright belongs to the Japanese Radiation Research Society. Reproduction of the abstracts without the society's permission is prohibited.
    The copyright of the content of the presentation on the day of the conference remains with the presenter.

    Publication of Abstracts

    After the conference, abstracts will be published in public organizations (e.g., J-GLOBAL) and on ICHUSHI Web.
