Regarding the Program

We will host 14 technical sessions featuring 2 plenary sessions, 11 invited talks, 36 oral presentations and 41 poster presentations. The sessions focus on Doping by implantation, epitaxial and alternative processes; Annealing processes; Device applications (Logic, memory, power devices, image sensors, RF, etc…); Equipment; Metrology; Modeling and simulation; Emerging technology; Smart factory (Intelligent manufacturing, AI/ML analysis); Sustainability and environmental preservation; Fundamentals and ion-solid interaction; Material science (Modification, AI/ML analysis).

Plenary Session

Do not miss the two plenary sessions held on September 23rd (Mon). Mr. Nobuo Nagai from Nissin Ion Equipment Co., Ltd. will start off the morning with a talk on “Japanese EquipmentManufacturers’ Contribution to Ion Implantation for Semiconductor Device Fabrication.” Directly following, Dr. Werner Schustereder from Infineon Technologies Austria AG will deliver a talk titled “Overview on Power Devices with Special Regard to Ion Implantation.”

Welcome Reception: Sep. 22 (Sun), 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Conference attendees are invited to the welcome reception on September 22nd (Sun) evening from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM on the 1st floor of the Toyama International Conference Center. This is a great time to enjoy light snacks and refreshments, meet with old colleagues, make new connections, and share information, before starting 4 days of technical sessions.

Exhibit: Sep. 23 (Mon) - Sep. 26 (Thu)

Be sure to visit the IIT exhibitors Monday – Thursday on the 3rd floor foyer of the Toyama International Conference Center. The exhibit offers the most direct access to researchers from around the world who are seeking technical solutions to their challenges.

Poster Session: Sep. 23 (Mon), 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM

Poster authors will be available for in-depth discussion on September 23rd (Mon) evening from 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM on the 1st floor of the Toyama International Conference Center. This poster session is open to all conference attendees and includes a light meal.
*The light meal will be provided until 8:00 PM.

Conference Excursions: Sep. 24 (Tues) Gathering at 1:30 PM

Conference attendees and companions are encouraged to attend the conference excursion on September 24th (Tues). The IIT conference registration fee includes ONE excursion admission. Companion tickets may be purchased in advance. On the day of the excursion, please gather at the Main Hall (3rd floor, TICC) by 1:30 PM.

Conference Dinner Banquet: Sep. 25 (Wed), 6:30 PM -

Join us for this year’s conference dinner banquet, September 25th (Wed), starting at 6:30 PM at Banquet Hall- OHTORI, on the 3rd floor of the ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Toyama, just across from TICC. During the banquet, there will be a traditional Toyama folk music performance.
